New Hope - testing the waters
During a recent conversation, it was mentioned that several members of the church are online, but the church isn't. Well, here's one solution. This page is being developed as a place to post notes, newsletters, and other church information for members, friends, and visitors to view. Work is also being done to create a Facebook page. A Myspace page may follow as well.
Want to help the people of Haiti?
As if the earthquake wasn't enough, there's now a severe issue in Haiti with Cholera. This is a preventable disease and it is also treatable - if the victim gets help in time.
The national office of American Baptist Women's Ministries sent the flyer below with ways to help and set up a webpage with ideas (http://www.abwministries.org/resources/resource.cfm?ResourceID=1008), but you don't have to be a woman or even a member of an American Baptist Church to help! Please take a moment to open and read the flyer to see how you can impact the life of another individual. End 2010/start 2011 on a helpful note!
